Waitlist Only* 2023 Wy’east Wonder 50M and 50K (Mt. Hood)

Go Beyond Racing might be one of the most well-known RDs in our neck of the woods and coming up in about a month is their Wy’East Wonder 50M and 50K trail runs.

Scheduled for Saturday, June 24th, these gorgeous races are already sold out, but you can put your name on the waitlist and keep those miles up just in case! This is a point-to-point net downhill race that starts from the southern side of the mountain around to the east and it tracks mostly along Gunsight Ridge and Surveyor’s Ridge.

The 50M route has about 7,500 ft of elevation gain and about 10,600 ft of loss, while the 50K comes in at about 4,300 ft of gain and 7,200 ft of loss. Both races end near Red Barn Park and runners will be shuttled to the start line (there is no parking at the start, so shuttles or drop-off only by spectators is required).

The post-race celebration will have burritos, Cascade Lakes Brewing beer, AVID hard cider, age-group awards, non-binary awards, and raffle prizes. Go Beyond is also known for their cool pint glasses, which every finisher will get.

You can read more about these gorgeous courses and the rest of Go Beyond’s races for the rest of the year (and early into next already!) here, as well as see updates and race inspo on their social media pages (Facebook | Instagram | Twitter).
