Elk-Kings Trail Races
Smith Homestead Tillamook State ForestThese are rugged races that involve scrambling up rocky mountains and descended steep trails. A real mountain race! The 25K race is a very steep and technical course run on single-track trails in the Tillamook State Forest. Runners will summit two mountains – Elk and Kings Mountains – and involve 5,800 feet of gain. The 50K course changed in 2022. Now, the 50K racers get to go up and down Elk and Kings Mountains just like the 25Kers. This is a much more technical course, with 7,500 feet of gain. Both races finish at the Smith Homestead, near the Tillamook Forest Center. This is where all runners pick up their bibs and where the 50K racers start. Great Columbia Crossing 10K
The Great Columbia Crossing 10K normally takes place in October each year on the 2nd Sunday. Participants start in Washington, cross the Astoria-Megler Bridge, and end in Oregon. Registration is required and opens during the summer prior to the event. Sign up for our email list on our website to be notified. The event capacity is 3,500 participants and can sell out. We started this event to honor and support one of our BFFs, Joleen Skarberg, who was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and continues to run it every year with her daughters, sisters, nieces, cousins and girlfriends! Lilly’s Lope for Hope
Lilly’s Lope for Hope is an annual 5K race to raise awareness of youth suicide and provide hope for the future. Held annually in Philomath, OR, it honors the life of Lilly Stagner, a high school student who died by suicide in 2013. Proceeds from the event provide mental health counseling and suicide prevention education to Benton County youth. The race will start at 10:00 AM. Participants may run, jog or walk the course through the quaint town of Philomath. Pre-race activities including on-site registration, a Silent Auction, and a Community Resource Fair start at 9:00 AM. A kid-friendly Fun Run starts at 11:30 AM. Westfir 50k- 30K
Office Covered Bridge Westfir, ORWestfir has a 50k and 30k race option. The 50k showcases over 7,000 feet of vert with some amazing views on some of the best trails in the state. It is a looped course with an out and back. The 30k is an out and back course on the Alpine trail. It is also very challenging and showcases almost 4,000 feet of vert.

Since 2003, this special event has been a local fundraiser for the Siuslaw High School Cross Country program in Florence and we are proud to continue supporting them as the event’s beneficiary.
