PRC Winter 5K Series – Race 3
Portland Running Company Beaverton, ORNEVER LET WINTER WIN! Keep those wheels turning and the fire burning all winter long when you join in our seasonal 5K series. This low-key, high-yield trio of races gives you the chance to test your training, improve your times, and compete with yourself. Race in December and then focus on your 5K improvement. Train hard, do some speed work, try some hill repeats, or add some miles to your weekly load. Then come back in January and do it again. Your progress might surprise you! Race. Train. Repeat! Whether you are training for a PR or just looking for a great avenue to set some goals for 2023, The Winter 5K Race Series is the ideal platform.
Hagg Mud
Henry Hagg Lake Gaston, OR50K and 25K running the muddy and beautiful trails around Hagg Lake. Well-stocked aid stations, hot food and cold beer at the finish, finisher swag, heated changing tents, and merch by Territory Run Co. The perfect early race season event to whip your legs into shape after the holidays! 25K offered both Sat and Sun, or do a baby double (both 25Ks) or big double (25K and 50K) to earn a howler or growler of beer!
Three Capes Marathon Relay
Cape Meares ORThis marathon course features the Three Capes Scenic Loop, starting at Cape Meares, passing Cape Lookout, and finishing at Cape Kiwanda. The rugged course passes through or runs adjacent to six State Parks, two National Wildlife Refuges, multiple County Parks, and boasts of stunning vantage points of the Tillamook Bay, Netarts Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. Starting and ending at sea level, there is nearly 2,400 feet of climb within the course, offering a challenging racing venue that is great for building team camaraderie. If you dare to tackle this course as a two-person team or solo, times will not be fast, but the satisfaction of completion will be as grand as the view.
Beer City Half
Santa Rosa, CA Santa Rosa, CaliforniaThe Beer City Half runs on! Join us on February 25, the morning of the Beer City Festival in Santa Rosa, CA for a beautiful run around Santa Rosa Creek. The Beer City Half includes a half marathon, 10k, 5k distances. The post-race celebration will whet your appetite for the Festival which takes place in downtown Santa Rosa in the afternoon and introduces you to some of the friends we have made putting together the Beer City Festival. This means you can look forward to a taste of local, regional, and international brews, food trucks, and music. Every racer receives a finishing medal, shirt, and a special Beer City tasting glass.

Dirty Leprechaun 5k Obstacle Run

Join us on Saturday, March 11th, at the Plumper Pumpkin Patch in Portland, OR as we begin an all new era for one of the best obstacle race events in the area! The new course and obstacles are designed by OCR legend Jeremy Kaufmann. All the other great features of the event remain like hot showers and changing rooms for everyone (free), complimentary beer and food after the event and much more! Only 250 are allowed, so sign up early and make your way to the Alsea Falls Recreation area for year 9 of this Classic PNW trail run!
Shamrock Run Portland
Tom McCall Waterfront Park Portland, ORShowcasing the best of downtown PDX, Shamrock Run Portland will celebrate 45-years running in 2023. Portland’s longest running tradition features multiple distances ranging from the one-mile Leprechaun Lap for kids 10 and under, to the half-marathon. All of the races start and finish at Tom McCall Waterfront Park, offering sweeping views of Portland’s skyline, Willamette River waterfront, and at least seven unique bridges. The post-race ‘Finish Line Festival’ welcomes both runners and spectators, featuring a green beer garden and live music for a St. Patrick’s Day party like no other. From family fun, to the iconic beer garden, distances and routes for all abilities and even a two-day Fitness Fair. Shamrock has something for everyone… and all with an Irish flair!
LA Big 5K
Dodger Stadium Los Angeles, CAThe LA Big 5K is a family-friendly race open to participants of all ages and abilities, including runners, walkers and strollers. Experience an iconic run through Los Angeles as you run through beautiful Elysian Park before a rewarding finish set against the backdrop of world-famous Dodger Stadium. All participants will receive a race shirt, finishers medal, post-race refreshments and a truly unforgettable race experience. This year's race takes place on March 18, 2023.
St. Paddy’s Leprechaun Pub Hop 5k
Join us for the 2nd annual pub hop in downtown Stevenson. This 5k run/walk event will start and finish at Walking Man, and will loop through the waterfront and downtown Stevenson. Race begins at 11:30, so you should wrap up your 5k just in time to hop into the pub for some liquid refreshment. Cost is $20 ($10 for CGRC members)
Los Angeles Marathon presented by ASICS

Peterson Ridge Rumble 20 and 40 mi
This is a fun, low-key event utilizing the Peterson Ridge and Metolius-Windigo multi-use trails near Sisters, OR. Bring a great sense of adventure and you’ll enjoy it! There are two distances in the event: 40 mile and 20 mile options. Both races will start and finish at Sisters Middle School.
Wood You Rather
Forest Park Portland, ORA fun and different kind of race. This is a checkpoint race, where you or you and your team, have two hours to find as many checkpoints as you can before returning to the start/finish area. You'll get a map of the course when you pick up your bib. Which way wood you rather go?
Run With The Wild 5k
Columbia GorgeA family friendly, dog friendly, ADA accessible 5k run/walk! This 5k will be held in the beautifully scenic Columbia River Gorge, starting at the Mark O. Hatfield (WEST) Trailhead. Views of the Columbia River will be seen along this paved route. All proceeds will be donated to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation. We will also hold an event drawing - enter for your chance to win amazing prizes from local PNW businesses.
Bend Marathon and Half

The April events will be the best mountain town races anywhere. These are spectacularly scenic courses through West Bend emphasizing everything that makes Bend, Oregon great. You'll cruise around neighborhood parks, through ponderosa pine forests, along the mighty Deschutes River, and finish in a beautiful iconic Bend location. Rounding out this iconic Bend event is a free kids race, a chill afterparty, and plenty of opportunities to shop, recreate, and dine in Bend while you're in Central Oregon for the weekend. Roseburg to Coos Bay Relay
KPIC-TV Roseburg, ORRoseburg to Coos Bay Relay registration is open! The relay is Saturday, April 22. It's beautiful course on quiet country roads along a river featuring waterfalls, big trees, and serious hills. This is a 68-mile, 5 person running team or 24-mile, 4 person walking team. Staggered start depending on predicted finishing time. The slowest running teams (or those who want to get more value for money) will start at 6AM. Runners start at KPIC-TV parking lot in Roseburg, walkers start in Laverne Park, Coquille. The race will finish at the Coos Bay History Museum (1210 N. Front Street, Coos Bay).
