Headwear to Help you Through the Storm

We all run for different reasons. For some of us, it is for fitness or competition. For others it’s about taking a break from the rigors of work and taking some time along. Whatever the reason, running can be the solution. For some out there, it can be little bit of the first two – peppered in with some much needed mental health. And that’s what Through the Storm is about.

Here’s a little bit more about Through the Storm:

Mental Health has never been more top of mind than it is today. The Pandemic was a pressure cooker on an already fragile mind. Our society lacks empathy. People are afraid, embarrassed and insecure in discussing mental health. Storms do not discriminate, they find everyone, yet being honest with trauma appears weak.

We set out to normalize getting help, normalize communication about traumas and challenges, normalize triggers and bad days. When we normalize the Storm, we empower people to face adversity proudly. For thousands of years, people have expressed themselves through clothing. When you wear our brand, you are empowered to face your storm and you support others to do so as well. If we continue to put people in a box and not address the problems, we have accepted defeat.

Through the Storm sent us a hat from their collection. They have three options – the Breakthrough (grey), Storm (5-panel navy blue), and Strength in Flight (6-panel black trucker).

The Storm is wonderful in its simplicity – a 7-panel option with a snap back and flexible bill. Each option is super lightweight, making them great options for running (or wearing out and about). The Storm is a muted steel blue and comes adorned with a discreet rubber frigate bird patch. This logo is for empowering you to face whatever lies ahead.

Storms may not be where you find comfort, but we are confident this could be the most comfortable hat you’ll ever wear.

Comfort comes in all ways, shapes, and forms – from the physical to the mental to all things in between. Often times we can use running to power through our own personal storm – but its still important to keep mental health on our minds (pun intended with the Through the Storm headwear line) rather than just burying it further down. Let’s do it.
