Get your tutu washed and pressed and mark your calendar for Furniture Share’s 8th Annual Run Your Tutu Off. This 5K fundraiser takes place on Saturday, February 15th at Crystal Lake Park in Corvallis.
Grab your friends and run or walk this 5K while strutting your stuff and showing off your best tutu. The run/walk event sponsors the local community furniture bank which has been serving people in the Willamette Valley since 1998. Matt ran this race a few years back and had this to say:
- The race started exactly on time
- The course was almost exactly 3.11 miles (my GPS said 3.12 at the finish)
- Raffle winners were notified immediately after crossing the finish (I won a Stainless Steel Thermos tumbler and a $10 Sports Authority gift card)
- There was a local soup vendor on site for post-race food in addition to the standard fruit and bagel faire. There was also a bowl of great snacks for kids – which my picky daughters were super thankful for.
