During the frosty and gray winter months, it is fantastic to have a CHEAP and FLAT race to look forward to. Vancouver Lake Half Marathon and 4-Mile Run is the CHEAP and FLAT race of your dreams. Not only does it have a medal and homemade cookies (among other food) waiting for you at the end, but all of the race events start 9:30am or later. That means you can wake up at a reasonable time on a Sunday morning, run a CHEAP and FLAT course, get your medal and some cookies, then enjoy a restful afternoon.
$35 for the half marathon and $25 for the 4-miler.
Go register now, and then come back to read more details.
The half marathon and 4-mile distances start and end at Vancouver Lake Regional Park. The all participants do an out-and-back on Reiger Road (passing the starting line and a super-handy bag drop). While the 4-mile participants head toward the finisher celebration, the half marathoners will continue for an out-and-back using a bike path to Frenchman’s Bar. One more loop on Reiger Road (the hardest part of the course because that finish feels so close!) and you’re done.
The race is limited to 475 participants. So, get your link clicking going and sign up for this CHEAP and FLAT winter race.
