Small Race Preview: 2019 Run For Shelter (Boring)

Participating in races, when you have a family, can be quite challenging. Schedules, running with strollers, or having your significant other be involved, all come into play. Thankfully, there are quite a few races out there that are family friendly and even encourage including everyone. I love participating in events that are not only family friendly, but who also support great causes. Run for Shelter, is a fun run/ walk with a race total of 2.2 miles (perfect for those pushing strollers). It will take place on April 6th, 2019 on a closed scenic road in Boring OR.

The course is perfect for all fitness levels and all ages. Run for Shelter is the premier fundraiser for My Father’s House, which supports homeless families in crisis. Every dollar from this event goes straight to My Father’s House. My Father’s House, which is a non-profit shelter ministry is there to meet the needs of homeless families.

Come join in this great event! Registration is found Here.
