Run Oregon is Kickin’ it in the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19

The brand new Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 were launched November 1, 2018 and I, for one, really love the update. I’ve ran in them over the last month, putting over 100 miles on track, treadmill, roads, paved trails, and even to some cross training classes. After this wide array of usage, they are still holding up like new and have become one of my go to shoes. In fact, the GTS literally stands for “go to shoe”. I find that the Adrenaline’s have fit true to size and width and have been cozy in all my runs (which have varied up to 12 miles).

The updated GuideRails system delivers smart support that focuses on stability at the most injury-prone part of a runner’s body, the knee. Here’s more info:

The Adrenaline GTS 19 is an update to a series of running shoes designed for overpronated foot motion. It features the next iteration of Brooks’ cushioning technology, the DNA LOFT, which is a blend of EVA, air, and rubber. The usual BioMoGo DNA cushioning is still in place to provide defined support to the foot that is wearing the shoe. The GuideRails Holistic Support System supports the medial part of the arch and the lateral portion of the heel, thereby giving a balanced underfoot performance.

Also updated is the breathable upper part of the shoe, and I found it to provide a more comfortable run as a result.

The upper unit of this model contrasts its immediate predecessor, the Adrenaline GTS 18, because of the engineered mesh and 3D Fit Print technologies. These elements work together to provide secure and form-fitting coverage.

However, with this construction, I felt it lets in a little more water in during really rainy temperatures and would suggest getting some waterproofing spray for the upper part if that’s going to bother you.

If you are on the fence about buying a new pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 19 shoes, don’t hesitate – these are the real deal. These stability road shoes are made for daily running and if you take these for a trial run and end up not being 100% satisfied within 90 days, return it for free.

There are also six different color options to chose from in the women’s line, making picking out running shoes even more fun!
