Shoe Review: Women’s Brooks Bedlam (Video)

I’ve been a pretty devout Brooks Adrenaline runner for more than a decade, relying on the shoe’s cushioned stability to ward off knee problems. For shorter runs, I’ll wear neutral shoes, but I prefer stability for 80% of my mileage.

The video below gives you an overview of what makes the Brooks Bedlam so different from the Adrenaline. The bottom line is that the Bedlam is a responsive stability shoe – it has a springier feel – and has a some features that are totally new.

So, take a look and see if you think it would be a good shoe for you to try. Then, visit your local running store and try some on. They run slightly longer than the Adrenaline, so you’ll definitely want to check them out in person. And if you’ve tried them, let us know what you think!

We started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. We also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support local race organizers.
