Small Race Preview: 2017 Iron 44 & Wildland Firefighters Association Tribute Run

I think we can all agree that firefighters do amazing things every day. I can’t think of a better reason to run than to generate money for the Wildland Firefighters Foundation, which helps injured and deceased firefighters as well as their families. The Iron 44 & Wildland Firefighters Association Tribute Run on August 12th does just that.

This race starts and finishes at the Rogues Baseball Field (Harry & David Field) and each of the distances head South on the Bear Creek Greenway on an out-and-back course. There are three distances to choice from. There’s a 5k, a 10k, and a 1 mile fun run which is great for the whole family. Strollers are allowed on the 1 mile course. Registration is now open, so come on out and support a wonderful cause and get your sweat on at the same time!
