Race Preview: 2017 Summer Half Classic (Coburg)

Come out to Coburg for the Summer Half Classic on July 16th! Coburg is just north of Eugene and if you are looking for a fun half marathon this summer, this could be it. This race starts and ends at Norma Pfeiffer Park and you can expect a fairly flat course perfect for that PR you are trying to achieve. If you want to see what the course looks like, you can find a course map here. There is a 4 hour time limit for this race.

Following the race, all participants will receive a finisher medal. The top 3 males and females as well as age group winners will be given medals at the awards table located by the finish line. What’s different about this from most other races is that there will not be an official awards ceremony, as the organizers of this race want you to enjoy your day and value your time so you don’t have to wait around or rush in anticipation.

If you’re ready to put another half marathon on the books this summer, give this one a try!
