Back in 2010, I earned 5th in my age group (I think that’s what green means!) at the ORRC Summer Solstice, along with Becca Davis (left) and Tony Perez in their respective age groups.
If you’ve ever tried to get your hands on a pass to the Nike Employee Store, you know they’re not easy to get a hold of. Typically, all the gear and shoes at the Employee Store are 50% off retail – a great place to stock up on shoes, socks, and running gear!
ORRC has made arrangements for their members to visit the Nike Employee Store on June 24 or 25; you just have to be a member in good standing as of June 21, 2017. Individual membership is $45 for a year and family membership (2 adults) is $75. Membership earns you discounts on all ORRC events (usually $5-$10 off regular registration prices); ORRC offers about 17 races per year including 4 half marathons, 1 full marathon, and 2 ultras.
