The Mt Hood race is a Pacific Northwest classic. Almost all of the 50M and much of the 50K are run on the heavily-shaded Pacific Crest Trail. The 25K distance doesn’t use the PCT, but take racers around Clackamas and Timothy Lakes on some great single-track and double-track trails. The Mt Hood 50 Mile race fills up quickly so we use a lottery to give more people an opportunity to enter. Registration begins on Sunday January 1st at 7:00 a.m. Pacific and will stay open until the 7th at 6:00 pm Pacific. We will draw the names on Saturday, January 8th at TBA time/place with the first 150 selected getting into the race. Those not selected are placed onto the wait list in the order they are drawn.
