Mt. Hood Races
July 9 - July 10$75 – $150
The Mt Hood race is a Pacific Northwest classic. Almost all of the 50M and much of the 50K are run on the heavily-shaded Pacific Crest Trail. The 25K distance doesn’t use the PCT, but take racers around Clackamas and Timothy Lakes on some great single-track and double-track trails.
The Mt Hood 50 Mile race fills up quickly so we use a lottery to give more people an opportunity to enter. Registration begins on Sunday January 1st at 7:00 a.m. Pacific and will stay open until the 7th at 6:00 pm Pacific. We will draw the names on Saturday, January 8th at TBA time/place with the first 150 selected getting into the race. Those not selected are placed onto the wait list in the order they are drawn. Registration will reopen, for the wait list, on January 10th.
The 50K and 25K are not lotteries and will open on January 17th at 7:00 a.m. Pacific.
We’ll be serving cooked-right-in-front-of-you meat and veggie burgers to all racers and volunteers for free, and spectators can eat if they want by dropping in $5 bucks donation to the beneficiary. Beer from 10 Barrel and hard cider from AVID is available for 21-and-older racers and volunteers.
There are great awards from our sponsors for the top 3 men and women and top masters, and age group awards that go three-deep. All runners have a chance of scoring some great products from our sponsors in the raffle!
