Beautiful Views Await at the 2026 Three Sisters Skyline 50k & Half Marathon

Buckle up for the 2026 Three Sisters Skyline on Saturday, September 19th, 2026! This epic trail race brought to us by Alpine Running offers us a choice between a half marathon or a 50k, depending on the challenge you are after. As the name would suggest, runners will be treated to scenic views of the Three Sisters as well as some other gorgeous Cascade mountains.

Runners will meet up at Village Green Park and can enjoy some treats from Sisters Bakery and Back Porch Coffee. Participants should arrive early, because both courses will require shuttle service to get to their respective starts. Please note that there is very little parking and that runners cannot be dropped off at the start line, as this causes too much congestion.

This ultra race will lead the day at 8:00AM and take you to the edge of the Three Sisters Wilderness, which amounts to some breathtaking forest views. You’ll see remnants of a forest fire in 2012 as well as the ongoing regrowth, as well as a beautiful mountain stream and the alpine meadows to keep you company.

The route climbs 3700 feet in elevation and descends 4700 feet. 95% of the course is on single track trails and there are three fully stocked aid stations.

This point-to-point half marathon course has a net downhill of 1500 feet and only 500 feet of gain, so it’s a great trail half if you’re looking for a relatively fast one. 85% of the terrain is single track trail and there is just one aid station at mile 7.1.

All participants will get a finisher medal and the top runners from each distance will get some great sponsor prizes. There will also be a post-race burrito bar which will hit the spot after all that work!!
