Couples that run together – Valentines Day will be here before we know it! If your significant other doesn’t run, this is a good day to give it a try. Saturday, February 10th, 2024 brings us the annual Michael DeRobertis Memorial Couples Classic 5000 meter Run and Fitness Walk – a fun opportunity to lace up with your favorite runner and enjoy a race together!
The race will take place at Emerald Park, a park that is in the more westerly part of town. The course is flat and fast and will consists of a few loops through residential streets. We love that Eclectic Edge is timing, and that they will be providing splits will be given at every mile.
Speaking of provisions, childcare will be offered at no cost (!) so that parents / couples can run together without needing to have one stay back to watch the kids.
There will also be dressing rooms available after the race with showers and a hot tub, so don’t forget a swimsuit and towel.
