My Muddy Valentine – The Perfect Date?

Believe it or not, it’s already time to start thinking about My Muddy Valentine! This Terrapin Events 5K Mud Run could be the perfect date for you and your mud-loving special someone; or just a fun time with friends/family. With a good mix of obstacles and mud, you are sure to make memories at this event.

Plan on 20+ obstacles that will include crawling, climbing, and plenty of mud. This event is for all levels. There are no penalties for skipped or failed obstacles.

Your entry includes a pancake breakfast, a complimentary drink, music, and even the option of a hot shower. New this year is the mimosa bar ($5/drink), the option of competing for prize money, and even a combine. The combine includes a shuttle run, sandbag toss, and stone lift – for an additional fee.

Parking is extremely limited at this venue (The Plumper Pumpkin Patch), so parking passes must be purchased when registering. Carpooling is highly recommended, as a parking pass for a person arriving solo is $30!! 2 people per car lowers the price to $15, 3 or more allows you to park for $10.

Also note that there will be no packet pick-up/registration on race day. Packets must be picked up the day before the event at Road Runner Sports on 23rd Place (Portland.)

There are 2 different package options to choose from at registration. One includes a little extra swag, the other saves you a little money. Register as a couple and you will save money on either package. And, don’t forget the Kids One Mile Challenge ($29 if registered by January 16.) I’m sure the kids will love getting muddy too!

While I haven’t participated in this event at the current venue, my friends and I always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves when we ran My Muddy Valentine in the past. Who doesn’t love a good February romp in the mud? 😉

My Muddy Valentine (Portland) $64-$84
