No Wining Until You’re Done – Willamette Valley Marathon 2023

The Willamette Valley Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K will be held in Salem on Sunday, September 17.  Breakaway Promotions WVM is once again combined with the Willamette Valley Wine Festival

All races will start at Riverfront Park then head over the Peter Courtney Bridge into Minto-Brown Island Park and follow the Willamette River south before looping back and finishing back at Riverfront Park in downtown Salem. You can check out the course details here.

2018 WVM medal!

The courses will have aid stations approximately every 2.5 miles stocked with water, Gatorade, GU, bananas, fruit snacks, and most importantly – port-a-potties! The routes are fairly flat with 350 ft. elevation gain for the marathon, 150 ft. for the half, and 115 ft. for the 10K.

The Willamette Valley Wine Festival that follows is a great place to reenergize, enjoy the catered lunch by Spin Catering, and try out some delicious local wines; all included in your registration!
