Unleash Your Fitness Utility with Artilect Utilitee: A Powerhouse of Performance and Style

We are in the dog days of summer and, thus, I am grateful for any and all running tops that can keep me trudging along. ARTILECT’s Utilitee is built for a summertime run and for a quick dry afterward. Merino wool is a great fabric for making it through lots of washes without losing its color or shape. And it was just a short dry on the porch to get it ready for the next day’s run.

While it can be  difficult to do a full in-depth review of a single shirt, but just know that the Utilitee is a really solid option. As far as fit goes, I found it has solid length in the sleeves and body. It does feature a slimmer sizing, so you may want to size up if you prefer something outside of that (we preferred an XL to our normally L sizing). It does have some give to it,, so even with a tighter fit, I did not feel like a sausage.

The simple look of this tee is really nice. While I am someone who likes some pizaaz, it can be nice to have a top that will not only pair with anything – but also do so and be tchincally sound. Artilect’s shirts are pretty simple by design, and the Utilitee has no identification outside of a small square on the left hem. Of the 5 color options available in mens sizing, the most flashy is…ahem…yellow/green. The minimalistic design will be perfect in my running collection and is also perfect for outdoor activities like hiking or even wine tasting (that’s an “outdoor” activity right?)

Here’s some more key details from Artilect about this great shirt:

  • 150GSM Nuyarn merino and Tencel fabrics offers extra loft
  • Improved drying time, superior durability, high stretch and recovery and natural odor resistance\
  • Nuyarn Speed-Lite is spun in a bluesign accredited facility
  • Superfine 19 micron non-mulesed Australian merino wool for maximum softness and wearability
  • No chafe flatlock seams

Artilect clearly cares about design, and about creating a piece of running gear that will last for years. We appreciate and admire the intentionality in their design, production, and distribution practices. The Utilitee, though an investment of $85 for a tee shirt – seems like it will last for years on end.
