The Craft Sports Women’s Pro Trail Running Tights is a great addition to their product line. My first impression of the tights was that they looked very sleek and well-made. They come in a few different color variations – all black, tide-sepia (navy blue with a hint of cream on the outside of each leg), and slate-desert (black with a hint of orange on the outside of each leg.)
I wore the Pro Trail Running Tights during one of my long runs on one of the local trails nearby. I found the leggings to fit comfortably and feel lightweight, providing just the right amount of compression without feeling constricting. The tights are made from a durable recycled polyamide jersey and have a smooth and stretchy feel.
The terry waistband is soft and sat snugly on my hips without digging in. I particularly liked that the tights were high-waisted. The seams that run vertically on the outside of each leg also creates an incredibly flattering fit.
The functionality of these tights is excellent. Mesh pockets can be found on the outside of each leg – one big enough for a phone and one big enough for a gel. At both the right and left hips are waterproof zippered pockets, perfect for keys, an ID, or other items you want protected from the elements.
A loop at the mid-back is also included which can be used for quickly stuffing a shirt, gloves or a buff.
After 14 miles I was very satisfied with the fit and feel of these tights. They stayed in place with zero chaffing. I stayed warm, but never experienced any overheating. Overall, I would highly recommend the Craft Sports Women’s Pro Trail Running Tights. They are comfortable, functional, and stylish.
The only downside is that they are a bit pricey, but the quality and durability justify the price.
