Spring Cleaning means new tops from Brooks

Obviously, with a name like Run Oregon, we are focused on running. But, as most PNWers are, we aren’t defined solely by our running prowess. We feel we are in the prime location for active exploration – whether that be running on the road, hiking on any number of trails, cross training in our local gym (or garage), or just being out and about in our beautiful state. We are big fans of our PNW sibling Brooks here – shoes and otherwise. We were recently sent some new tops.

Distance Short Sleeve 2.0

Not only is this shirt fashionable enough to wear day to day, it’s also a great running shirt. We received the simple grey color, but there are a ton (13!) different colorways out there. It’s really kind of amazing that a shirt that feels so cottony also provides the sweat-wicking and quick-drying features of a running shirt.

Not only is this environmentally friendly shirt comfy, but I love the artistic style of Gong’s Sasquatch. The unique theme of licorice ferns and maple leaf patterns are peppered throughout the whole collection.

Atmosphere Short Sleeve 2.0

The Atmosphere looks a little more like a running shirt, coming in 5 colors – 3 of which have different color sleeves and back then the front. It is made from 76% recycled material and has everything that we are looking for in running shirts. It is pretty light, but has those sweat-wicking, quick-drying 4-way stretch qualities that we have come to expect. It also has a DriLayer Burst treatment that keeps stink from building up.

Sprint Free Long Sleeve 2.0

The women’s Sprint Free Long Sleeve 2.0 is the perfect spring in the Pacific Northwest running top. It’s super lightweight and moves easily – an excellent layer or stand-alone top for those spring days that are hinting at warmth, but aren’t quite t-shirt weather. The sleeves are extra long with thumb holes for a little extra hand coverage.

The top is a bit shorter than expected, but still hits below the waist. The Sprint Free is a sweat wicking, fast drying, 4 way stretch fabric with an odor resistant finish. With 4 different color options, you’re sure to find one (or more) for your spring running.
