Let’s Get Ready to Ruuuuumble: Previewing the 2023 Peterson Ridge Rumble 20M and 40M loop

It’s well-known by now that the Peterson Ridge Rumble is the perfect kick off to spring trail racing. The Sisters run known for it’s singletrack, good distance options, dog-friendly, socks, and burritos is back again on Sunday, April 2nd.

See our recap of the 2015 Peterson Ridge Rumble

Starting and ending at the Sisters Middle School, the course is mostly trail with a few sections of dirt road and views of the mountains along the way. The 40 miler will have 5 full aid stations and 2 water stations; the 20 miler will have 4 aid stations. The course has changed a little bit for this year so be sure to keep an eye on the course markings if you’re a repeat offender for this race!

The 40 milers can have drop bags and crew access – you can read more about that on the website.

The Rumble’s beneficiary is the Sisters High School cross country team and many of the volunteers will be cross country team members.
