If you are looking for a St Patrick’s Day themed race, there are many to choose from across the state. Most of them are taking place on the weekend before or after St Patrick’s Day, but if you’re looking for an event on March 19th, the 2023 Prineville Paddy Pint Run may be just right for you. The event offers three different options (the 5k, the 10k, the 2 Mile Run/Walk,) and lots of Irish Spirit. You can check out course routes here.
See our 2021 Review here!
Proceeds of the race support the Tooth Taxi of the Dental Foundation of Oregon, which provides free dental care to kids in need at schools throughout Oregon.
The race starts and ends at Pioneer Park in Prineville at 3:00PM, so you get to sleep in before running this one. This event is part of a whole weekend of fun starting Thursday with a “Sip & Shop” at Bayberry Lane that includes a scavenger hunt and a Ride About Bike Parade on the 19th.
After the race, join the finisher’s party and awards at the park. And don’t forget to wear green!!
For more information, check out the event’s Facebook page.
