In Spring 2022, we are getting back many of the classic races in the Pacific Northwest and it all feels so good. Oregon Road Runners Club (ORRC) puts on multiple events each year with a focus on community. As a local nonprofit that is staffed by all volunteers, each race is an expression of love for running, for runners and walkers, and for all the beauty that is this part of the country.
On May 7th, ORRC’s next event will take walkers and runners out for an adventure at Hagg Lake. The courses for Hagg Lake Road Runs are 10K or 10.5 miles, so depending on your sense of adventure, there is a distance for you. The 10K route is an out and back, with a turnaround at the dam. And if you’re curious about the unusual 10.5 mile distance, that would be to get participants all the way around the lake.
Both distances start at Bobcat Cove and both distances can earn you a glass, an after-party, and a Saturday adventure at the lake.
