Bridge to Brews is BACK!

“Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!” – Michael Corleone, played by Al Pacino, in the film The Godfather: Part III

In Spring 2019, I participated in the Farewell to Fremont edition of Terrapin Events Bridge to Brews. Now in 2022, Bridge to Brews is back with four bridges for runners and walkers to journey over: Steel, Broadway, Morrison, and Hawthorne. With a start and finish on the Portland Waterfront, it doesn’t get more classic than this event.

Oh, and there’s beer.

Participants can choose from 8K or 10K distances, depending on how far they want that finish line to be. They also get to choose from different package options so a little money can be saved on the shirt and medal for more drink tickets. All finishers receive a tasting cup and 10 tasting tickets. And there will be post-race food, music, games, and local vendor booths.

The 8K and 10K kick off at 9am with the Beer & Cider Festival starting at 9:45. Stick around until 1pm for live music and more.
