Tigard Virtual 5k Fun Run extended through September 20

It’s gross outside, and even running inside may not be a good idea for those with respiratory problems. That’s why the City of Tigard has extended their Virtual Fun Run through next weekend (September 20) – to give you a chance to still run the really flat 5k on a great course.

They’ve also moved Goody Bag pick-up to Tuesday, September 22, since the air quality right now is still at the Hazardous level. On that day, you can swing by the Fanno Creek House at 13335 SW Hall Blvd in Tigard between 8a and 8p to get your good bag (one per family).

For more information on this run, read my original post about the Tigard Virtual 5k Fun Run here (noting the dates have changed) and visit the City of Tigard’s Recreation page!

About Kelly Barten (1146 Articles)
I started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because I felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. I also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support LOCAL race organizers. I'm a Creighton Bluejay (undergrad) and an Oregon Duck (Sports Marketing MBA), and I live in Tigard with my husband and two kids. My "real job" is working for an incredibly awesome math textbook company doing marketing and production.
