The annual Hazelnut Run (formerly Run for your Nuts) takes place this year on Saturday, December 7th at 10am, while the Hazelnut Festival and German Christmas Market is already open to the general public. Packet pickup and day of race registration starts at 8:45am, and the race takes off at 10am. The run starts and ends at the Festhalle in Mount Angel, and it will take participants through the streets of Mt Angel and on country roads past trees and fields. At the finish, each participant will receive a bag of hazelnuts, and you’ll be able to enjoy the Festival and Market.
Registration is now open online, and prices will increase on November 1. Adult registration is $25, youth ages 10-17 is $12, and children aged 9 and under can register for just $8.
