Salem isn’t well know for home of the Ultramarathon, but Crusty Cap is making Salem known on the map! In 2107 Crusty Cap Events brought Angry Owl Ultramarathon to Salem! Now, in 2019, they are bringing a NEW Ultra Lost in the Sauce 50k on April 20th. They are also offering a 30k and a 10k if the 50 is a little much for you. Although I don’t consider myself an “Ultra” runner, I have run Ultra’s. I ran Angry Owl in ’17 and Crusty Cap does a excellent job with their races. Very organized and comfortable setting. Race director Josh Christensen is great at answering questions that may come up as well.
