Race Preview: 2019 Oregon Women’s Half (Eugene)

First thing’s first in describing the Oregon Women’s Half:

This yearly event is a fantastic women’s getaway complete with a race and an afterparty at a winery. Participants can choose from the half marathon or 5K distances, with the promise of a medal and stemless wine glass at the end. Because of course you want to have some awesome bling and your very own glass for some post-race tasting.

Along with those celebratory opportunities at the finish line, runners and walkers will be supported through water and snack stations along the half course, and water stations on the 5K course. The courses are very supportive to walkers with a 4-hour time limit on the half and 2-hour limit for the 5K. The top three finishers in every age group will earn an added medallion. And of course, it all comes back to the post-race celebration with mimosas, a bagel bar, and fresh fruit.

Long-sleeve hoodies are available for purchase so you can strut your stuff around the Noble Estate Winery, and let others know about your good life choices all week long.
