Small Race Preview: 2019 Rogue River Rampage (Gold Beach)

Not only can you enjoy the beauty of the Rogue River south bank on Saturday March 16th for the 2019 Rogue River Rampage, but it’s an obstacle run as well with plenty of mud and fun for everyone!

The 4 mile course, which takes place in Huntley Park’s Rogue River Walk trail in Gold Beach, has a bunch of obstacles for you to embrace, including walls to scale, a belly crawl culvert, and a rope climb. This is a mud run so don’t expect to walk away clean. This will be a family-friendly event good for runners and walkers alike, so bring your spouse and kids for a great day everyone will love.

The course can be viewed here and it travels from Huntley Park west to Jim Hunt Creek and back, approximately 1.9 miles each direction.

Once you’ve finished the race, there will be a bonfire to enjoy, beer and refreshments, food, and other goodies.

The cost is $25 for adults 18 and older, $12 for kids 17 & under, and a family rate of $45 for 3-6 members of a team. This year, the t-shirts have been redesigned by local Trevor Hook and they are available to you for an additional $20.

This will be a fun event for the whole family, so come check it out.
