The Mastondon 10ish Mile Trail Run is a fairly flat trail run, great for breaking back in to the trail running season. Run on the Maston Trail Network in Tumalo, this race boasts views of the Deschutes River, Cline Butte, and the Central Oregon mountains. Meandering through the juniper trees with only about 400 feet of elevation change, The Mastondon sounds like a can’t miss trail run.
The two aid stations along the mostly single track trail course will be stocked with water and energy drink.
The Mastondon Trail Run is the first of many 2018 trail runs put on by Superfit Productions in the Bend area. They will be giving back 10% of the race proceeds to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Oregon.
