There are 2 wonderful opportunities coming up to support women’s health, which in turn supports the health of all of us! On Saturday, September 16th you can choose from a 25 year tradition in Eugene that raises awareness and funds for women who are battling cancer. Over in Redmond, the fine folks at Pregnancy Resource Center are raising awareness for the services they provide, free of charge, for young girls, women, men and their babies.
In Eugene, runners and walkers can jump into the PinkSox RunWalk To Live event which starts and ends at Alton Baker Park. Choose from either a 5K or 10K distance while also choosing to run, walk or both.
In Redmond, runners and walkers can enjoy the Dry Canyon while participating in the Walk For Life which offers a 3K walk or a 5K timed run.
When: Saturday, September 16th
Time: Both events in both places start at 9am and stagger start their walking events.
Cost: The PinkSox events are both $35 and include a shirt. The 5K run for Walk For Life is $35 and includes a shirt. The Walk For Life 3K is free.
