Race Preview: 2017 Aluminum Man Triathlon and Duathlon, The Dalles Oregon

The 29th annual Aluminum Man Triathlon and Duathlon is a great end of summer event. Temperatures are often more moderate in early September, and after a season of training and competing you may achieve a personal best on this course. In 2016, Matthew Sheeks finished the olympic triathlon course in 2:02:44. With approximately 250 competitors, this event is large enough to have good competition without being overwhelming to those new to the sport. The event is presented by the NWC Parks & Recreation District and timed by AA Sports.
