Portland Marathon Clinic Training Run for September 19, 2015

How does 16 miles with the friendly pacers at PMC sound for this Saturday, September 19?

Remember, these runs are free an open to everyone, whether or not you’re running the Portland Marathon.

Check out the course here; you’ll run on the west side of the Willamette to the Sellwood Bridge (bathrooms at Willamette Park) and then cross the river to run through Sellwood and over through Eastmoreland. The route is an out-and-back with on-course support, but you should bring your own nutrition and hydration.

Where: Mountain Hardwear at 722 SW Taylor in Portland

What time: The run starts at 8a. Be there no later than 7:45.

Next Saturday (Sept. 26) is the last PMC run for the 2015 season, so if you want to say “thank you” to your pace group leaders or the PMC coaches and organizers, this would be a great weekend to do so! They are all volunteers and deserve recognition and thanks for all of their hard work.

About Kelly Barten (1152 Articles)
I started the Run Oregon blog in February 2007, because I felt like running in Oregon and SW Washington deserved more positive coverage. I also wanted to level the playing field so that small, non-profit races could compete with big events; and to support LOCAL race organizers. I'm a Creighton Bluejay (undergrad) and an Oregon Duck (Sports Marketing MBA), and I live in Tigard with my husband and two kids. My "real job" is working for an incredibly awesome math textbook company doing marketing and production.
