Run for Hope and Health

The 3rd annual “Run for Hope and Health” will take place in Salem’s Minto-Brown Island park on Saturday, September 19th. Participants can choose the 10k Run, 5k Run/Walk, or the 2 Mile family walk. Proceeds benefit Salem Free Clinics, which provide free health care to uninsured adults. 

The races have staggered starts, with the 10k starting first at 9am, followed by the 5k at 9:15 and the 2 Mile walk at 9:25. The event is limited to 400 participants, and shirts can only be guaranteed to those who sign up by August 31. Children ages 8 and under are free in the 2 mile walk, but should register if they would like to receive a shirt. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. Race packets can be picked up Friday, September 18 from Noon to 6:00 pm at Broadway Coffee House, 1300 Broadway St NE, or on race morning at the park.
