The event starts and ends at Pacific University’s College of Ophthalmology and will take you through beautiful Forest Grove and its surrounding fields and hills. The 5k course is a “lollipop” out and back with a loop around McMenamin’s Grand Lodge as the half way point. The 10k course starts the same as the 5k, but splits off at the two mile mark to draw a big counter-clockwise circle and finish back at the start. For the 5k, there is no water station on the course, and the 10k will have one aid station, so please plan accordingly.
The start times for the different races are staggered: The 10k run and the 5k walkers get started at 9am, followed by the 5k runners at 9:15. Children are welcome (both in strollers and as participants), and for everybody’s safety they must be supervised by their parents at all times.
The “Tot trot” run for children ages 5 and under starts at 10am. Registration is $5 and includes a t-shirt.
