When we ran our Run Oregon logo contest, we got so many amazing entries, that I decided to pass on this information about another logo design opportunity.
Oregon Road Runners Club, a nonprofit running club for the entire state of Oregon, is looking to update their logo.
If you’re interested in submitting a design, please send it as a PDF to odr@orrc.net by June 20th. Include your full name, phone number, and any notes you’d like to add about your design.
Things to keep in mind:
This logo will go on race shirts – so it should be visible and recognizable from a distance!
Also because of the race shirts – it should be able to be printed in full color and black/white, as well as all black and all white.
If you aren’t a master at Illustrator or design programs but have an awesome idea, you should still sketch your idea and send it in. ORRC can always find a designer to create it in the file formats needed. Submissions will not be shared, published or otherwise used unless they are selected as the winner. And yes, they’ll pay the designer with whom they end up working!
So remember: send in your design as a PDF by June 20th!
After that, an ORRC Marketing Committee* will select finalists and the ORRC Executive Committee will select a new logo (or choose to stick with the old logo, as the case may be). At that time, we’ll talk to the designer that submitted the idea about compensation.
