Come Run with the Girls at the 2026 Happy Girls Run

There’s something magical about running in Central Oregon. One of the things that make it so is the 2026 Happy Girls Sisters run is coming up soon on October 24th, 2026. It’s going to be a fun one.

This event features a Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k and they always have the cutest swag!

This event is a wonderful opportunity for women of all ages and paces to get together and celebrate their fitness in a fun way. All 3 events start and finish at the beautiful FivePine Lodge in Sisters.

There will be a fun post-race party there as well to celebrate you! The food tent will have coffee, cocktails, and some hot soup waiting for you.

The Half Marathon is an all-women’s trail event featuring single-track trails through the Deschutes National Forest on the Peterson Ridge Trail. It starts at an elevation of 3182 feet and there will be some climbing at the start and some elevation changes.

There are 3 aid stations on course, not including what’s at the start/finish line. There will be water, GU Brew, and GU gels waiting for you there.

The 5k and 10k are considered road races, a combination of pavement and some trail, and they both wind through Downtown Sisters. These distances feature courses that are relatively flat. There are 2 aid stations on the 10k course and 1 aid station on the 5k course.

All 5k and 10k runners will get a beautiful finishers medal and the Half participants will get a finisher belt buckle. All participants will get a custom gift. Gift bags and awards go to the top 3 finishers in the open and master’s categories and age group finishers get ribbons.
