If you wanna be happy, do the 2026 Happy Girls Run this year! This race series is hosting this event in Bend on May 9th, and there will be a 5k, a 10k, and a half marathon to choose from.
This race begins and ends at Riverbend Park in Bend, and it’s a lovely location for a race. The half marathon will take off at 9:00AM with the 10k following at 9:15AM and the 5k coming in hot at 9:30AM. There’s also a Happy Little Kids run for the littles starting at noon.
The terrain on the course is a good mix of surfaces, from trails to pavement to groomed pathways. Aid stations along the course will be stocked with GU Electrolyte Drink and GU Gels.
After the race, stick around for the celebration. There will be food and drinks available and lots of vendors with all the latest in health, wellness, and lifestyle options.
The swag for this race is really fun and cute! Everyone gets a finishers medal and you can decide between a performance tee ($30) or a sweatshirt ($55) when you register. Even the kids run participants get a finisher ribbon and some treats. Gift bags will go to the top 3 finishers in each category, and there are ribbons for age group winners.
If you can’t make it to this race in May, there’s also a Happy Girls Run in Sisters on October 24th.
