We have weirdly reviewed similar items to these – but just a bit different in construction. Back in 2022, we tried out the Serrano 2.0 Shorts in an 8″ inseam and the Mathis Short Sleeve. This go around, we are trying out the following:

After two years of regular wear, both the tee and shorts from Roark’s collection remain steadfast favorites in my wardrobe. Even upon trying out a second tee from their lineup, the love affair was rekindled. It speaks volumes about their quality and durability that I continue to reach for them time and time again. Needless to say, I’m thrilled to incorporate some fresh stylings into my rotation, cementing Roark’s gear as a staple in my activewear collection.

I’ll spare you the detailed construction breakdown, as it’s consistent with other items in the collection. With a 5″ inseam, these shorts offer a snugger fit compared to the 8″ version, making them ideal for a more traditional running short length. Plus, they lack a liner, doubling their utility as swim shorts if desired. Crafted from super lightweight, stretchy material and featuring a convenient tie and zippered back pocket, they’re both practical and versatile.

The long-sleeve tee boasts a soft, luxurious feel against the skin and offers a slightly snugger fit compared to the standard tee options, at least in my experience. If you find yourself between sizes, I suggest opting for the larger size for a comfortable fit. Nonetheless, it’s a garment I find myself reaching for time and time again due to its undeniable comfort and wearability.

What I can say is that both of those items are going on two years of use now and I STILL wear them with regularity. Even the second time we tried out a tee from their collection – we fell in love again. For a tee and a pair of shorts – that’s saying a lot. Needless to say, I love them and am happy to have some different stylings.
