In the midst of 2024, Ciele, once renowned primarily for its performance hats, has unveiled a range of new apparel, signaling a significant expansion beyond its hat-centric identity. Embracing a broader vision encapsulated by their mantra, “Everybody run,” the company is committed to fostering community and connectivity through top-tier performance gear tailored for athletes and adventurers from diverse backgrounds.

Hats Off! Ciele Performance Running Gear is Here

In line with this ethos, Ciele has recently introduced a collection of tops designed to cater to the needs of individuals in the early Spring months, particularly suitable for the varied conditions of Oregon. We’ve had the opportunity to sample some of these new additions to their arsenal, offering insights into their versatility and functionality.

ORTShirt

Let’s begin with the ORTShirt, a modern twist on the timeless cotton tee, an essential in every wardrobe. Available in unisex sizing (women may prefer to size down), this shirt boasts simplicity and elegance in its design. Offered in brown or black color options, it features the iconic Ciele logo prominently displayed at the center, evoking a nostalgic 90’s vibe with upgraded quality.

Despite its cotton construction, which lends it a slightly heavier feel compared to typical performance tees, it incorporates thoughtful details such as reflective accents, making it suitable for nighttime runs. Personally, I find it ideal for pre- or post-run wear. Crafted from 100% recycled cotton Sorino knit fabric, it also boasts flatlock stitching and an antimicrobial finish, enhancing both comfort and durability.

OTFInsulator

Navigating cooler runs can be daunting, especially for PNW athletes seeking the perfect balance of warmth and breathability. Enter the OTFInsulator, a game-changing piece designed to meet this very challenge head-on. Crafted with a thicker short sleeve profile and featuring a Merino wool collar, this insulated top emerges as a versatile layering essential for cool to cold weather workouts, seamlessly bridging the gap between warmth and mobility.

The innovative construction of the OTFInsulator is a testament to its functionality. The lightweight shell, constructed from DWR recycled polyester weave, provides weather resistance, while the Polartec Alpha 100% recycled polyester fill ensures optimal insulation without compromising on weight or bulk. Despite its insulating properties, the inclusion of short sleeves allows for effective core warmth while promoting freedom of movement in the extremities.

Additionally, Ciele’s AIRbeam venting system, integrated along the spine, facilitates heat release, eliminating the need to shed layers during intense workouts.

Priced at $280, this investment-worthy piece promises long-term durability and performance. Available in a bold jungle-themed green and black, as well as classic white and black options, the OTFInsulator combines style with functionality, featuring practical elements such as pockets and snap closures.

Overall:

Ciele continues to captivate us with their latest gear offerings for 2024, showcasing innovations that align perfectly with our needs and preferences. Check the out.
