Embrace the Spooky Spectacle at Run Like Hell

September is here, leaves are starting to turn pretty colors, and pumpkin flavored drinks are available at coffee shops. Which means it is high time to register for your fall races! A fun fall and Halloween tradition is the Run Like Hell, an event hosted by Terrapin Events at Milwaukie Elks Lodge.

With this race taking place on October 28th, it’s a great opportunity to get out those Halloween contests and go for a run. I myself have run this race in a cheerleader’s costume, and it’s SO fun to see what crazy Halloween options people bring to race day.

There are a couple swag packages, depending on what you want to get with your race registration. Package one includes a custom hoodie, your finisher’s medal, a pancake breakfast and a free beer or cider following the race. If you would rather do the “no frills” option, you can also opt for package two which includes the pancake breakfast and beer/cider. (Don’t worry, you can add on the hoodie and medal during check out.) There’s also a kid’s race for only $10 and that will include a bib for the kiddo.

Please note that there will be NO packet pickup option for this event on race day. Please plan on picking up your race packets on Friday, October 27th anytime between 11:00AM and 6:00PM at the Road Runner Sports in Portland (29 NW 23rd Place.)

Parking is free at the Elks Lodge in Milwaukie. Race day begins with the Kids Race at 8:45AM, followed by the half marathon at 9:00AM. The 10k follows this at 9:30AM, and finally the 5k is at 9:45AM. After you finish the race, there will be a great post-race party with live music, food, drinks, and some local vendors. There will also be an award ceremony for the top 3 finishers.
