Janji x La Sportiva: Unveiling the Door to World Limited Edition Running Collaboration

We have been reviewing Janji items for a while now and they continue to impress us with their style and functionality. On top of that, we also love their take on the running world – that it’s a universal connector of people and that their apparel should strive to express that.

Now, their latest collaboration with La Sportiva – the Door to World Collection – is pretty on brand. Both of these running (and beyond) companies are globally-recognized and have similar missions to connect people through the love of running and travel.

The items in the Door to World collection feature the limited edition Tectonic Shift design. This colorway is inspired by the colorful, ever-changing landscapes of the environments we set out to explore. Their gear is a beautiful wavy array of reds, browns and blue that is as technologically sound as it is visually fun.

Zephyrunner Wind Shell

The Zephyrunner Wind Shell is perfect for PNW runners. It is superlight, butter soft, and extremely packable. How many runs have we been on where we need a jacket mid-run, for just a few minutes, and then we need to take it off after. Don’t lie – you have. And this jacket is perfect for that.

It is also water-resistant and wind-blocking – which we are going to be experiencing more and more in the coming months. There are some reflective details and the back is ventilated so you don’t turn into an overheated humid mess along the way.

There are also two zip hand pockets and a zip chest pocket to stash smaller items.

Jackal II

We have already reviewed the Jackal II, and the Limited Edition visuals in the Janji x La Sportiva Door to World version is awesome! This all-around trail shoe is designed to elevate running experiences from door to trail and trail to world – and look amazing doing so.

Stay Tuned for the La Sportiva Jackal II

Here’s a quote:

The shoes breathe well, regardless of sock choice. I tend to wear a merino wool blend sock, but I also like thinner poly blend socks and tried both with the Jackal II with equal success. The tongue has a nice pad to it, with side flaps that tuck down the sides of your mid foot to help with moisture control. The price is in line with most trail shoes of similar caliber. All in all I would say that La Sportiva has built a real winner with the Jackal II. I look forward to pushing this pair to their mileage limit.

This special edition of Jackal II is the embodiment of La Sportiva and Janji‘s shared vision to create high-performance gear that respects the environment, while pushing the boundaries of comfort and style.

The Door to World collection is quite awesome and features fun colorways that represent the spirit of exploration. Don’t miss out!
