Celebrate the 4th at the Run With Paula Independence Day Races

It’s time for the Independence Day 5k/10k/Half Marathon and it’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate our nation’s birthday. Held at Champoeg State Park in St. Paul, Oregon, the run starts at 8am and winds through paved trails along the Willamette River. You can run any of the distances as a virtual race also!

The race starts near the Riverside Pavilion and will be an out and back with mile markers and volunteers keeping runners on course. The half marathon course will be a double loop plus a bit more of the 10k course. The course is also USATF Sanctioned and will be well marked and measured just as you’d expect from any Run With Paula Event!

Packet pick up begins at 630aat the Riverside Pavilion at Champoeg State Park on race day, as well as the day before at Portland Running Company in Beaverton from 11a-3p. All race distances will begin at 8a.

Stick around afterwards for post-race festivities. Who doesn’t love music, hot dogs, and beer on the river?

The Independence Day 5k/10k/Half Marathon is a fun way to start off the Fourth of July, with a run and party in the park. Pack a Frisbee or some hiking shoes and take advantage of the park after the festivities. With so much to offer, it’s easy to see why Run with Paula Events picked this venue. Rich with American history, Champoeg State Park is the perfect location for an Independence Day Run.

In addition to the race fee, make sure to account for bringing cash or purchase an Oregon State Park Pass since the park charges a $5 day fee.

Run with Paula Independence Day Races $55-79
