Back Again: The Redmond Half (10K & 5K) Returns for Year 2

Back for its second year, the Redmond Half Marathon, 10K & 5K by Lay It Out Events is already a locals favorite. The races all start and finish downtown under the beautiful namesake arch, and all 3 distances take advantage of the picturesque Dry Canyon trail system.

As a former resident of Redmond, and as a runner who logged their fair share of miles on those streets, this event really showcases the city. From the downtown shops to the parks to the trails, all while enjoying the high desert in mid-June.

Lay It Out Events does a great job of this in Bend and Sisters already, so it’s no surprise to see them finding instant success in Redmond.

Stick around for the post-race celebration in Centennial Park and maybe check out some local businesses or breweries. It will be worth it!
