Race Preview: 2023 Bridge to Brews 10k/8k

I love craft beer. It’s as simple as that. There is just something about the local flavors and love that goes into each batch of liquidy goodness. I also love to run. Combining the two is a more perfect pairing than a steak and an IPA of 100+ IBU’s! Hence, the 2023 Bridge to Brews hosted by Terrapin events appears to be my kind of race!

This is an iconic race at Waterfront Park in Portland, and you’ll get the opportunity to walk or run over Portland’s Bridges. Afterwards, stay for the beer/cider tasting and sip some of the best while enjoying a live afterparty filled with music, games, and lots of goodies from local vendors.

If race swag is your thing, you’re in luck with this event. All participants who choose “package one” will get both a finisher medal and commemorative hoodie, as well as their race bib, a tasting cup, and 10 tasting tickets. If you don’t feel like you need all that, you can opt for “package two,” which includes the race bib, tasting cup, and the 10 tasting tickets. There’s a Kids 1/2 miler for $12 as well.

Everyone still gets the fabulous post-race party on the waterfront with fruit and food options. There will be an awards ceremony with goodie bags for the top 3 in each distance, as well as the live music and local vendors previously mentioned.

Keep on the lookout for more info as the date nears and follow Terrapin Events on Facebook too.
