Race Preview: 2022 Veteran’s Day Race to Remember (Vancouver, WA)

Race to Remember is a Military non-profit in Vancouver, WA founded by Claudia Cardenas after losing her fiancé, Jason Vinyard, a 20-year army veteran to ensure that our community remembers and honors the sacrifices military members and their families make. The race will offer a 5K, 11K, and a kids 1K run.

In addition to the race events, Race to Remember organizes military care packages and engages the community through projects such as “Soldier in the Classroom”, “Thank You Cards” and “Books for Soldiers.”  The organization’s long-term goal is to establish a college scholarship for the children and spouses of Fallen Heroes.
