Race Preview: 2021 The Gobbler’s Revenge (Albany)

At a race called The Gobbler’s Revenge, instead of running for turkey, you might be running FROM turkey.

Or you might be just getting to have a grand time running around the north side of Albany with some family and friends. This Thanksgiving Day tradition is going into its 13th year and the leaders are happy to be back in person. Race distances include half marathon, 10K, 5K, and 2.5 miles. Some distances are limited to only runners so be sure to check out all the details in deciding the best adventure for you.

The Mid-Valley Lions Club started this race to help raise dollars for medical needs in the community. The volunteers behind the event want to help keep everyone safe on the various courses through course marshals guiding the way. There will also be gear check so participants can have the perfect gear to warm up in after their walking or running miles.

Check out this video from a past even to get you excited for this gobbler.
