Kate’s Real Food snack bites and bars are organic, gluten-free, and delicious

I’m a snacker. While I mostly pride myself on trying to put good food in my system, I am constantly running around between work items, kid schedules, and my own personal day-to-day to do list. When I am in a rush, having something handy to keep me energized and, more importantly, satisfied, is key to my personal nutrition. When I start running on empty – that’s when I break down and go with simplicity over planful meals. I recently tried out Kate’s Real Food, all-natural snacks that seem like they would fit a lot of my needs.

These bars can be purchased online in 6- and 12-pack boxes – either in one flavor or even a Combo Box with multiple flavors. Only Oatmeal Cranberry and Almond (which is INCREDIBLE!) and Dark Chocolate Mint are missing from the Combo.

The Tram Bar is Kate’s flagship bar, it’s almost like a candy bar – a nice combination of peanut butter and chocolate. It’s hard to believe it clocks in at only 130 calories per serving. In fact, pretty much every serving of Kate’s Real Food runs between 260-300 calories/bar. The Bivy Bar was also surprisingly good. I can be hit or miss on ginger flavor, but found this more muted and a perfect complement to the coconut and lemon. I remember having tried the Tiki Bar before, and it was not favorite, but I think it has been updated and it was very much enjoyable.

Kate’s Real Food Bites are made quite well and it’s obvious the name of this company rings true. They use a combination of nut butters, fruits, and complex carbs of organic oats and brown rice crisps. Kate’s has honestly done an amazing job at marrying taste, low calories, and an energy-packed snack bar. I’d recommend reading more about Kate’s story to feel even better about your purchase.

At Kate’s, we believe that what you eat matters. That’s why we use only clean ingredients in all our products. From organic gluten-free oats to organic dark chocolate, we want each bite to contain the best-quality, best-tasting, healthiest foods we can get our hands on.

This means no chemicals and no artificial sweeteners. To satisfy your sweet tooth, Kate’s prefers organic fruits–like dried cherries or dried mango–and all natural honey (our sweetener-of-choice). In other words, we keep it simple: only whole foods with great texture and ingredients you recognize.

Kate’s Real Foods also has Snack Bites in their portfolio, which have the same great taste and nutrition, but just come in smaller bites (duh). These are perfect for sharing out on a hike, on a road trip, or even just at the park with a few kids. They are also really great to have on hand in a pack during a long run or race.

Having never really delved into Kate’s Real Food before, I can tell you I will ABSOLUTELY checking out the rest in their catalog – they just sound delicious. And if they are anything like these, I know I will be loving them.

You should be able to find these with relative ease using their Store Locator. Follow Kate’s Real Food on Facebook and Instagram.
