The annual Sweetheart Run in Sweet Home, Oregon, will take place on Saturday morning, February 13th. The event starts and ends at the historic Weddle Bridge in Sankey Park. Packet pickup opens at 9am, the National Anthem at 10am is followed by the 1k kids race. The 5k and 10k will start around 10:30am, and they are open to participants of all ages and abilities; the courses through the town will remain open until noon. The free 1k race is limited to youth ages 10 and younger. Chip timing is provided by Eclectic Edge.
Registration is now open! Race packets will be mailed out to participants who register by February 1st. Tshirts are available for purchase for $20 during registration and limited numbers/sizes on race morning. Proceeds from the race will be used to support the Youth of Sweet Home Oregon and East Linn County through Literacy, Scholarship and Leadership Programs directed by the Rotary Club of Sweet Home.
