SW Hope 5k is an annual 5k run in Southwest Portland. This race benefits Neighborhood House’s food pantry, the largest food pantry west of the Willamette. The race takes place in Gabrial Park in SW Portland and follows a course around the park. This family friendly event offers a kids race, 5k and a great raffle following the race. This year before the race a benefit pancake breakfast will be held at Lucky Labrador Public House in Multnomah Village. All participants from the SW Hope 5K will have a discounted breakfast available.
Along with multiple SW Portland Faith Organizations and different Community Partners all work together towards the same goal, to meet the need of hunger. Hence, why SW Hope 5k was created. Benefiting Neighborhood House’s food pantry to feed hundreds and hundreds of hungry neighbors. “If we run together, our neighbors here in SW Portland won’t have to experience the insecurity of not knowing where their next meal is coming from.” Join fellow runners April 4th for this family friendly 5K.
